Garrett joined Albarran & Joyce in 2024. Garrett is a transplant from northeast Arkansas and has been living primarily in NWA since 2015. Garrett grew up in Blytheville and graduated from both Arkansas State University and the University of Arkansas School of Law. Garrett worked in the mental health field prior to attending law school, which helped to cultivate his passion for helping those in need. He also held several jobs working with at-risk kids in treatment facilities.

Prior to joining Albarran & Joyce, Garrett was the Deputy County Attorney for Washington County and a Deputy City Attorney for Springdale. While at Washington County, Garrett advised all of the elected officials about various legal issues that they encountered. During his tenure as Deputy City Attorney, Garrett prosecuted thousands of criminal charges- including hundreds of DWI/DUIs- in Springdale District Court. Garrett also worked as a law enforcement instructor at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy. Garrett taught several courses at the Academy that related to constitutional issues applicable to law enforcement.

Garrett and his family are members of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Tontitown. In his free time, Garrett can be found hanging out with his wife and daughter. Garrett also enjoys playing soccer with his friends. Garrett is an avid sports fan.
