Megan joined Joyce Law Firm as an attorney in 2022. Megan was born and raised in metropolitan Kansas City, Kansas. Her desire to travel and experience new things inspired her decision to move to Fayetteville and study at the University of Arkansas. During her undergraduate years, she looked for opportunities to travel abroad, and was able to visit Kenya, Peru, and Russia. Megan also volunteered her time with different programs and organizations that were focused on international students and families, such as Canopy NWA and iFriend.
In 2018, Megan became a first-generation college graduate, majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Political Science. Megan worked for Walmart for five years starting from high school and through her undergrad. Beginning in 2018 she also worked at a local firm as a legal assistant and through this experience felt affirmed in following her dream to become a lawyer. She then began studying at the University of Arkansas Law School in 2019.
While in law school, Megan was involved in the Immigration Law Society and Christian Legal Society. She clerked at various law firms and spent three semesters working as a student attorney for the Immigration, Advanced Immigration, and Bankruptcy legal clinics. And between her first and second year, she had a beautiful “covid wedding.” Megan is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, and she is very grateful to have a career in helping people from all walks of life.
Megan is a proud foodie and mom of two tuxedo cats, Comet, and Minnie. She loves playing nerdy board and card games, watching movies, running, and hiking. But during football and basketball season, you’ll most often find her spending free time watching or attending Razorbacks or Chiefs games with her husband, Austin.
